The Accu-Chek Softclix is designed to be used with the Softclix lancing device to make a small hole in the surface of the skin, then apply the blood drop to the Accu-Chek glucometer test strip and then insert the test strip into the glucometer.
The Accu-Chek Softclix has a particularly thin needle – just 0.4 mm. Thanks to the unique Clixmotion technology there is no vibration. This quickly controlled movement is much gentler on the skin.
