CareSens Dual for the measurement of β-ketones

Measuring ketones and blood glucose in your blood is now quick and easy! CareSens Dual is a small, automatically backlit, high-capacity glucometer for measuring β-ketones and blood glucose in blood. No coding or setup required – 100% test ready.

The CareSens Dual glucometer can be used in combination with KetoSens ketone test strips and CareSens Pro blood glucose test strips.

Measuring ketones is easy because the instrument has many advantages:

• automatic LCD backlight;
• equipped with a test strip ejector;
• 1, 7, 14, 30, 90 days average reading;
• The SmartLogTM mobile app can be downloaded for Android and iOS smartphones for data storage (see introductory video);
• Together with the test results, the glucometer also records the ambient temperature.
• The amount of blood required for analysis: just 0.4µl for blood glucose and 0.5 µl for β-chelated glucose;
• analysis time: blood glucose 5 seconds and β-ketones 8 seconds;
• memory: 1000 analyses;
• Measuring range: blood glucose 1.1-33.3 mmol/L and β-ketones 0.1-8.0 mmol/L;
• Blood to be analysed: fresh whole body capillary blood/fresh venous whole blood (healthcare professionals only);
